I have a Pe-175 which is nice and a TA100 which is a knockout - has the specs, the looks and the tone, sweet to play and versatile.

I think like most people, my guitars in use seem to go in phases, but the one I really seem to like the most at the moment is my Vox Custom 24. As heavy as granite, has a fantastic neck and Dimarzio X2N pick ups. I don't seem to have any photos of it, so must get some done and post them up...

Very true. I think if you are a guitar lover, and even if you have a collector's preference, you still have a diversity of instruments. Hey, that's why you got them in the first place, eh? Something about them grabbed you.

I dearly love my Vantages and Spectrums, but at the moment I've also been grooving on *gasp* Danelectro. Don't get me wrong, there is also a Spectrum and a Vantage on the guitar stand. But when you're in the mood, there's nothing that comes close to the jangly, chimey sound of a Dano, especially through a vintage Dano amp and matching Echo effect pedal.

Maybe I'm just lost in a nostalgia trip but it is a sound I remember from when I was a young 'un and it puts a smile on my face when I recreate that sound I once heard coming out of my transistor radio.

Looks like a substantial chunk o' lumber there! Very nice.

I often wondered about the linear control layout on many of the VOX's and Electra's, plus the placement so low on the body on many models. Sometimes it's the pots that are in a line, and here it's the mini toggles. Do you find it awkward reaching behind the bridge for the switches? :dunno:

Weighs a tad over 9lbs (stuck it on the scales last night)

I quite like the switching arrangement. It's difficult to knock it by mistake and if I want a big difference in sounds during a song, I try to get it by setting the pick ups up differently and switching using the three way and tone and volume controls. My brain is normnally fully occupied trying to remember what I'm meant to be fretting to have the ability to flick too many switches mid-song!

The Tand V knobs can give some marked sound variations with this guitar too. I know a lot of people say that their guitar can sound like a Strat or a Les Paul, but this one can produce a large range of sounds (not particularly Strat-like, but not too far away)

It's certainly one I shall be hanging on to for a long time - it's too heavy to post to anyone!
