I have a Vantage VS-600 which was my first Mat that started this whole darn thing. Now, I love my Skylarks the most but I still haven't gotten over that "if I touch it, I'll scratch it, I'll throw up" phase. But the Vantage was pre-beat up and plays/sounds amazing. I just love it.

As most of you can gather the one getting the most attention at the moment is my black latino.
The TA-70.

The ones i bring for showdown is the TA and then the Headhunter followed by one of the MkXXs of mine.
But the main axe by a fair margin is the TA.
Should i eventualy run into another one, count on me picking it up.

Very interesting Jesper. You have so many gorgeous solid body guitars and yet you rank them below the semi-acoustics.

I too have a particular fondness for my TA60 (even though she's new to me and MIK). I guess that comes from growing up playing acoustics as a kid and eventually my Gibson ES330. Don't get me wrong, I love all my Westones and Vantages and they're great fun to play, but there is some kind of magic that happens when you play a big body semi with F holes. Tremendously versatile. I notice that they are slowly coming back in style again with many of the young bands out there too.

Yeah.
Tonite we had a visit by a number of close friends that play the guitar too.

We started playing "enter sandman",and most of them went-lookin at me with that semi strapped around me;
(At first in neck position with volume way way way down, then at the flick of the switch...all hell broke lose as you can gather and me and Kai went into orbit)
-"That is SO wrong in SO many ways Jesper..."-
-"Yet,you´re doin EXACTLY the right thing for some reason!"-

What can i say?
Feedback heaven....

To pull that off i hooked a damage control "deamonizer" inline.
Gain...WAY uppppppppp......
(as always my 30 watter providing the goods.)

Still that semi up front.
Still that PAF sounding MMK75 in the bridge...
and DAYUM that thing rocks.

Granted.

SO wrong in so many way....
Regardless...
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO right still...............

When you hang onto the notes she´ll sing like there´s no tomorrow....
Try THAT with a solid at reasonable rates.

From a recent gig. Got lots of compliments on the bass... the instrument, not the playing.
And I'm pretty sure they turned my mic off mid-set.
