I think what Jorg's saying is that the point of the underscore is still too far to the left, as is the left side of it. I changed it on my version, and you can see a difference.

Okay, here's what I came up with:

Image

I moved the underscore point, and the left side end. I thickened up the bottom corners of the U. I made the upper right corner of the N a little thicker and squarer. I also deepened the little cut at the top of the R and N. I asked my wife to take a look, and she says this is pretty darn close.

Just to pop on my Anorak Of Fire a mo... the RSB version follows the curve of the headstock, so a regular one will look a tad odd. I've got a RSB Deluxe 5, so I'll confect something suitable & hurl it electronically in a Chasward direction (assuming it's not too late).

On the other hand, if you need it in Black I have a cunningly alternative option.

Pete.

I'd have to agree with Jorg (that's a first! :P ) and Zeegler. His latest version looks just about right to me, too. Chas, use it as a template ('place pic') in Illustrator!
Allmost there ...

yeah, mine's just a crummy bitmap done in paint. I don't know how to use any fancy stuff like illustrator or photshop. :D

This should settle it! I've overlaid the logo with a thin red stroke weight, as you can see it fits pretty well.

Edit: That's a bit small, haven't got time to resize it but you can enlarge it on screen if you're curious

Greetings all,

I've just finished the artwork for "RSB Special" and RSB Deluxe-5" (both of which have the "Original Smooth Joint" wording) based on my two originals & a handy photo from Bassassin.

They will mainly be winging their way electronically to the lovely Chas.

Pete
