Hello everyone;
Sometime ago when I joined this forum, I mentioned I had some brochures, paperwork, & photos from the 80's about the Aria guitars I'd purchased back then. Thanx to a bit of water in the basement last week, I have now uncovered them. (or some of them, anyway) Turns out Mother Nature enabled what simple curiosity could not...
Turns out the 2 brochures I've located, a 1984 Aria full-line catalogue; & another detailing the Double X, Double Z, & U series have already been posted by others. I did locate a BOS for each of the AriaPro guitars I bought, however, & will post those as soon as I figure out how to resize them! (a CS-250 & a blue ZZ Deluxe) Unearthed a pic of my Double Z as well, brand new in the case to boot.
One BOS that I couldn't scan was for the RS-750D that I still own. The printing is so bloody faint that it simply isn't visible. By holding it up to the light, I did manage to ascertain that it cost me $507.70 (Cdn $) on Jan 15th 1983. Looks like the hardcase was in addition to this, because including a Traynor TS-15 Amp (which I still have too, tho I'm not sure why) I shelled out $775.00 for everything.
I'm not sure this info will help anyone, other than showing that they may have appreciated some since then. If I dig up anything else, I'll get it up on the board.
