Rather uninspiring performance despite the nice geetar.
Never mind that. What's the rhythm guy playing?

And what the hell is with that scarf on his head? So not cool, but very lovely Peter dahling.

I agree with the performance but he is playing a PE-R80. That might also be an AP2 the rhythm guy is playing.
I love old Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green and Danny Kirwan. Both are highly regarded players.
Both also suffer with mental illness. Might explain the scarf. . .

Wow, I stumbled across this post while looking for something different entirely.
I have NO memory whatsoever of posting this in the first place. . . :toopid:

However, I do believe there are 3 AP2's in this vid. :rockwoot:

I think Green took too many LSD trips which caused his mental illness.
He did write Black Magic Woman with The Mac. I kind of liked this version.

I'm a Skynyrd, Stones, Zeppelin kind of guy, except now I have this big ugly
Univox :) to study jazz, but I have to give it up for Glenn Campbell.
He was a very talented performer and session player.

Anyway there is a video of him and Jerry Reed and I think they're
playing Arias. Not sure because the video isn't clear.

Campbell's performance here is a little on the "fruity" side for me. A shame because was a tremendously talented player and singer and there are lots of videos out there demonstrating that.

His contribution to the legendary "Wrecking Crew" was huge. darn shame to watch his mind deteriorate from dementia, but even if he couldn't be coherent he could still play the guitar almost to the end such is the power and beauty of the instrument!

Reed is no slouch either. A heck of a player in his own right, always enjoyed his humour too.

Muscle Shoals too for sure, even though I have to use my VPN to see the video!--"blocked in your country"

Along with the wrecking crew they were responsible for what you tapped your feet to and sang along with on the radio. Hit after hit after hit. And largely anonymously too.

Only now after the dust has settled do you realize just how important these musicians were to the singers who got most of the credit for the hit song. Sadly almost all have passed on and without the credit they deserved.

I've seen that video of Campbell and Reed before. Though not my style, both are great players.
Campbell and Reed are both playing some model of TA and the guitar player behind them with the glasses is playing a PE.
