Hello,

I have been searching the forums for my guitar but could not find anything (maybe I just overlooked something... sorry if so)

I have recently picked up an attic found for only 50 Bucks (Euros) because I knew Japanese Arias are something special.

Actually the Serial has been removed and I could not find any Info on this guitar. Can you tell me more?

It Sounds and plays very nice and is in used, but not bad condition. Is this anything of worth? I would not be disappointed because this thing really sounds great somehow... not worse than my US Strats.

Welcome!
Very nice, it looks to be in good shape. I'm not 100% but I believe that is post Matsumoku.
I know there was a Matsumoku FS series but they were semi-hollows.
Someone here will know more than me about this, give it a day or two.

This particular model was introduced in 1987... Matsumoku closed in 1987.

So very likely this is not made by Matsumoku anymore... or only the initial run was made by Matsumoku before production moved to Korea.

Does that mean it could be one of the last models Produced in Japan?

How much could I ask for it if I wanted to sell it?

Kind Regards

Does that mean it is nothing of worth or are you curious that I want to know the value?

I just want to know what I am having here :)

I'd say your guitar was made in Korea... I can't be 100 % sure, but Korea is more likely.

Anyway, those type of guitars are not very expensive if you look at your favorite auction and trading sites. If you like the way it plays that's great... if you are planning on selling, don't get your hopes high.
