Hi Everybody,
I'm trying to figure out if this guitar is made in japan or korea. It plays well but I think it's overpriced. What do y'all think?

Looks like maybe a social security #......some people use them to identify in case of theft. I don't know why anyone would do that, but I guess it takes all kinds to bake a cake.

Welcome Chickenbop.
I agree, it looks like a ss#. It certainly isn't a serial number.
It looks to be MIJ but not sure the model from those pics. Off the top of my head I'm gonna say maybe an LS-450.

Honestly, the price doesn't look too bad. What I can see looks to be in pretty good shape.
Does it come with a case? A good case is generally the better part of $100.
Make 'em an offer.

Thanks guys, I was offered it at $400 but I don't think it has a case and only want to pay $300. I'm going to see if it hangs out a while if they'll be willing to sell it for that.

Without a case, $400 is a good price. $300 is even better.
Keep us posted. I'd like to see more pics. :D
