Hey Urchin, I also have 088054 on my list also, pretty close too.
I have quite a few Masterpiece numbers from May 78 to Dec 78 it looks to me to be the largest production period for these.

I have a '76 ES700 series, a Gibson ES-335W copy. S/N 7608025, orange Aria Pro II label.

Hi Bluesman, your serial number, is it the one from on the sticker?
There should be another number on the back of the headstock, thats the one we want.
The internal sticker numbers are a whole different ballgame.
