Greetings from Kawagoe, Japan, TAD39!

Beautiful photos of your AP2s in their hometown! It's also very interesting to see such an early Aria Pro II guitar with a slightly different logo. Great stuff!

Good morning.
Thank you!
Are you a Japanese?
I am surprised at a note from Japan.
Ha, ha.

Ups... spelling mistake, I wanted to say I visited Matsumoto. Actually the factory tour at Fujigen was organised by my wife (as a birthday present for me).
Anyway, Matsumoto is not so far from Yokohama... but somehow I don't visit the Matsumoto area very often. Next time I definitely have to visit the memorial stone.

If the admins permit it....

Hiromu Handa is a mystery to me. To me he is/was the greatest Koto player in my humble opinion.
I really wish the music from this LP was available on CD! (High quality)
My friend from Sweden also has it and blogged about it :

Most impressive Koto player!
Is he famous in Japan TAD?
Records get worn... :( Such a pity.

Not my favourite track, 'Sakura-Kaété-Godan' would have been more appropriate but I found this track on Youtube:

This guitar is made in MATSUMOKU, too.
Probably it is a guitar of about 1972.

I have only been at the smaller Fujigen factory, where they make the guitars (except for the finish). The person showing us around in the factory mentioned that the main factory does mainly car parts (like wooden dashboards etc.). I have a similar picture from the Atlansia entrance (unfortunately they were closed on that day).

Actually my first electric guitar was made by Fujigen... I would have loved an PE-R80 back then, but it was too expensive... so I settled for a Strat copy.

You are visiting Yokohama once per year? Let me know when you will be in Yokohama next time and let's meet.

... and yes, I know that my wife is splendid... and she even does not get mad at my obsession with guitars.
