Just picked up one of these axes, but I don't seem to be able to find this model specifically. I can post some pics (gee, I seem to remember that being a lot of fun the last time!) but in the meantime, does anyone have some specs on this model? It has the same knob arrangement as the TS-400, but the headstock is the same as the -300.

I have one. I believe it is the same as the 300 but with different wood. The 300 has nato wings. The 350, like the 400 has sycamore. I love mine but it is heavy.

I agree...definitely some weight in this guitar! Hopefully, I'll get a chance this weekend to plug in & play loud... :hyper:

I absolutely love my TS 450, and if I had to do it over, I'd hold out for one of the neck through 650's. The sustain is better than my Gibson RD Artist, which is an awesome guitar too. Maybe it's just me, but I don't think it's too heavy, but compared to the RD I guess most others are light.

The coil tap and phase switches are very nice, however as you'd expect the gain drops to nearly half when you go to single coil. I've wondered if the active models have some compensation for this.

I found this guitar on Craigslist in Nashville and paid $200, but the frets were very worn. I know a master luthier that does awesome work for very reasonable rates, he replaced 80% of the frets, installed a new nut, and dressed one of the bridge saddles for less than $300. I don't think I'd part with this guitar for less than $800, it's worth that much to me. The only way this would leave the herd, is if I found a better example of this line.

Well, finally got a couple hours to play around with this guitar. (between dealing with a partially flooded basement, & stove replacement...why does everything always go to hell when you've got your own stuff to get to?)

Anyway, it rocks! Lots of sustain & a big fat sound...more sustain than my RS-750. Got some great pics, including some of it's several scrapes & bruises. The guitar has definitely been played, but not abused. I'll see if I can load some later tonite. :)

I just got a TS-350 last week and I am loving it. you can see pictures of it here:

I did not think it was that heavy. But then again I am used to playing a MIJ strat that is quite a bit heavier than other strats I have played.
