Marshall's have that effect on most guitars with decent 'buckers. We used to sell them at the old guitar shop I worked in. My ears are still buzzing.

Hi, all. I've been searching for an easy solution to this problem for a long time. Fortunately, my CS-350 has all the original saddles, but I've always felt them to be the weakest point in the design. Recently, however, I found this for sale on Reverb.com and noticed that a couple saddles had been replaced.

It appears that this saddle model is tall enough in the picture but I'm not sure. And I have no idea where to begin trying to track a set down.

Also, Jorg, would you shim under the bridge or shim under the saddles?

Hard to tell from the one picture but it appears that the replacement saddles are wider that the originals?
The Strings are pulling to the outside which would change the spacing over the pickup poles.

Anything is worth a try. A set of those saddles can't be much and if they're still not tall enough, slap a shim under the bridge and call it good.

I messaged the seller and he told me that he used this saddle, Allparts product code: BP-2315-010 Chrome Saddles. But you'd have to buy two sets and the string spacing is too wide at 2 1/8 in.

What material would you suggest shimming the bridge with? Thanks!!

I'd say pretty much any kind of wood you can get in a thin enough piece. You won't need much.
