Hi all! Would anyone know the thickness of the neck on an early 80's TA70 hollowbody?
I'd like to buy one but first I'd like to know if the neck is chunky or thin.

I've had a few late 70's, early 80's Japanese guitars and was always happy with their thin comfortable
necks. However, recently I played an early 80's TS500 and found the neck to be too thick for me.

I've had 3 Greco's and I now have a Tokai Strat and a PE1500. I was happy with all of them.
I absolutely love my PE1500 and I'm hoping that a TA70 has about the same level of neck comfort

Would anyone know?

Also, any opinion on CS necks? I may look for one of these.

I have owned a few CS guitars and all have had very nice necks, not chunky like a Les Paul.
I also like the RS and PE necks.

Not sure this will help.

The TA-70 has a neck close to the PE series necks. Thin and not too wide. The radius is comfortable but not so steep to restrict bending.

The CS-400 neck is a little beefier than the bolt models but about the same width.

For me both the TA and the CS are easy to play and did not tire my hand.

Now I have confidence to buy a black TA 70 without having to send it back
because I don't like the neck.

I see TC Gakki has one now, but it's red.

I'll wait for the right one to come along.
