$900 is in the ballpark for the 80s PE series guitars that I have found recently. It comes down to if you want one you have to pay what people are asking. I have seen some sellers pumping the prices up to as much as $1500+ and the more hype and hogwash they inject into their ads the higher the price goes.

I paid under $300 for all but one of my PEs and that is because I bought it new in 85 (it was two years old then). All of which I bought as long as 20 years ago before the "vintage sickness" pandemic struck. With that being said I would never part with any of the three I still have at ANY price. I'm torn for favorites between my PEs and my Cardinals.

The two PE-60 I had were fantastic players and the action was right down on the fingerboard and no fret buzz. There again I don't bang on the guitar either.

Now that you have it DO NOT let go of it!

Tweaking it is a dance. Adjust, test, adjust again, test again and so on until you finally smooth it out.
