THREE months.............that's how long I've had the PE-R80 that was the subject of this thread and today I finally played it for the first time. After many trials and tribulations I found a local guitar builder who , after much trial and error , machined me a little nut for the SPT bridge , set it up , did a fret dress etc.....and it plays like a dream :hyper:

I gotta say these pickups do the Van Halen sound better than anything else in my collection :love:
