Hi, I have an Aria Pro II bass that I have no information about other than it was made in Japan. Ive tried to use the serial numbers to find out more about it but with no luck.
I think it is a late 70's early 80's bass. It really is quite nice to play and seems really solid and well made.

Its been really well looked after and sounds great. Punchy and solid.

What model is this? and how can I find out what year it was made? etc.

Hi Rizla, looks like you have an Aria SB-Elite II there, dated 1984 I believe.

It was described as 'Phantom Blue' and had a maple neck - nice bass and yours looks to be in excellent condition

I'm only a newbie here myself but they are a knowledgeable bunch here so I'm sure you will get all the info you need.

Hi and thanks. I did spend an hour or so searching online for info and then found a pic of it in the catalog in the home page here.
Sort of took a long way around.
Any idea what one of these are worth now. I dont think I will be selling it, but you know, curiosity and all

Difficult to comment on value I guess, ebay would give you an idea of how much they sell for but if they don't come up for sale often its pretty difficult to say.

As long as both parties are happy with the transaction then you can't go far wrong, in my humble opinion.

If you do ever decide to sell let me know, it would look pretty good next to my other solid colour Mats
