Hi,

I am new to Aria Classical Guitars. I am confused about the model numbers. I purchased a Aria classical with no serial number in the label and the model reads 562. Searching the forum I see a lot of reference to A562. My guitar is mahogany back and sides and appears to be a spruce top. Any info on this would be most helpful. I see many Arias Classical models without the A- in front and they mostly are in the form of 5xx.

Is there any logic behind the numbering. Are the higher number better than the lower numbers?

thanks

tim
