Hello guys! I´m new here and need some help on my Aria Jazz Bass. Reading The Guitar Gallery site I thinking my bass is a 1540S made 1970-74.

This is a photo of my bass´s neck plate.

What can you guys tell about it?

Nice baby !!!

I would say that you got the right model number as for the year... 70-75 based on catalog...

Thanks for the answer! Sure it looks good and sound FANTASTIC too! I installed two Bartolini 9W4 very nice pick ups! Also put new Nobble potentiometers and a pre-amp/buffer AGB/918-2 from Bartolini, keeping all controls (V V T) passive!

Thanks,

Hey Frenchy,

Thanks for your attention. Yes, on The Guitar Gallery site, says 1970-74. If I not wrong, in 75 they start to use the Aria Pro II brand.

I want more information about it, just for love about history.

Thanks again.

Actually the "Aria" script logo was used after 1975 as well. Not sure how Aria decided when to use the different logos. Actually Aria still uses the script logo for Acoustic guitars.
