For them what cares, I used Google's ability to probe domain content and I managed to locate my old post on the Vantage 12 string. It didn't get trashed after all!

Sorry for the hijack Pete!

I HATE dynamic IP's :x ! A long reply disappeared when I hit the submit button and had to log in again!

No problem, Barry  . I'll be needing some of your tips there to do some work on the K-Suzuki in the near future. It is starting to develop some bellying, but no sign of bridge lift discernible as yet.

The sound and projection of both guitars is very good with the ARIA being a bit fuller/mellower (string brand, bridge and pin differences?) - confirmed by my Son today. Action is nearly spot on - maybe a tiny bit high at the twelfth - and the intonation is a bit sharp on the high "E" and "B" strings (OLD strings?) and the relief is spot on. Playability is really nice considering the old strings and a need for lube on the nut (tuning was a BEAR!) plus the absence of the thin "G" string (ewww, that sounds naughty  ).

New ebony bridge pins have arrived and new sets of 10 - 50 D'Addario's are on the way - both guitars are set up with this gauge.

I'm guessing your router decided it was time for a new IP? Used to happen to me a lot. The router I have now supports keepalive so I have the same IP unless the DSLAM goes down or we lose power.

The site has a shared IP that only changes on very rare occasion. But it has happened. It REALLY confused my monitoring software as it only resolves the hostname to IP when it first starts. When the IP changed mid stream it went haywire. I must have had 200 error notifications in a couple hours time and had to close each one one at a time. :yipes:

"absence of the thin "G" string (ewww, that sounds naughty  )."
