Hello there, HELP NEEDED!
my father bought this Aria Diamond 1803T guitar around 1969/1970 (first buyer) and stored it after playing it to the mid seventies. I remember that quite accurate. Recently I inherited this guitar and I would like to know when it was built (my guess would be between 1967 and 1970).
THE SERIAL NUMBER is 4468138
Any idea?
Does someone maybe remembers the price at hat time (or a rough guess?) and what would you estimate as a fair value of such a guitar today.
It is in fair condition and it plays nicely after even at least 45 years storage. I checked it today. However there has to be made some minor refreshments. Furthermore there are a number of bumps and scratches, however overall condition is good.
Thank you for your help!

The serial numbers during that time were arbitrary and had no bearing on manufacture date or production number. Late 60s to early 70s is actually a pretty good guess.

Retail would have been much lower than an American equivalent. Probably about 1/3. I don't think any price lists exist from that era.

As far as value goes the only concrete way to determine this is to sell it in an auction style format. If you do like the guitar it's actual value to you increases, at least to you. Some of mine I consider priceless although the market would differ.

Pics would be great! If it has the trapezoid pickups on it I distinctly remember them sounding pretty darn good.

Any pictures of the guitar?

I have 2 red ones that I aquired over the years. I like these but they do not command high prices sale wise.
