There's an Aria acoustic for sale over here, model AW70, but I'm quite unsure about it's origins.
I can't find any hard info about it, the seller claims it's from the 70's and that a relative of his bought it in the US and that it was "produced in the US under license by Aria". As far as I know, Aria never produced any guitars in the US, not even in the beginning with Arai guitars.

So, is this an early Aria or is it a later product(Blue Book supposedly says 90-91 which should make it korean)?

I don't know about this one but I believe there were some. I'll find the thread. . .

*EDIT* - this is from Aria's site: http://www.ariaguitars.com/int/00int_ma ... deg02.html
A little more than halfway down you'll see the US Custom Series (US made) from '87.

Hmm, I don't see an AW70 but there is an AW700 from '93-'94.

Yeah, and I don't think it's an AW700, see this image: http://www.ariausa.com/Archive/cp_dreads_1989_04.html

Maybe not but, other than color, they look pretty much the same. Probably some difference somewhere or they'd be the same model, huh?
