Bought this beauty at auction recently and I've been researching to see what the heck she is. The auction listing stated "1983" ... not.
I can not find any information on a model "Diamond 781" but that is what is on the label inside the guitar.

My Google and Forum research says probably an early 1970's model. It looks exactly like the 1971 Epiphone 5102T, so I'm guessing its an early '70's model, perhaps in the 1971 - 1974 range. Serial number is "3207096". Any help identifying what I have here would be much appreciated. Thanks! :D

Hmmm, I just posted a witty reply but it vanished - oops. Anyway thanks very much for the help. That is the guitar for sure. It plays and sounds fantastic. :D
