First post here. Site looks very good.
I recently purchased an older Aria A558 classical, serial no 00113 on label, 3580002 inked on the inside of the neck block. It has a solid cedar top, rosewood fingerboard, solid rosewood sides and back. Very nice quality wood all around. Headstock is a Torres style with gold tuners. The internal label shows made in Japan. Appears to be hand made looking around the inside. The construction is very light, and the body is very resonant as you send a vocal tone in thru the sound hole.
Aria, Japan responded to me stating they believe these models were made in 1978, 1981 and 1984.
As you can see from the pictures the bridge is missing.
First of all I need a picture of the correct bridge to make a re-production. If anyone has this model, with this headstock, please post it for me.
Second, any idea when this label was in use? The 84 catalog shows a different style headstock and sound hole label than this model. Ebay sales show this label in various models and they claim anywhere from the 60's to 80's.
Thanks in advance, looking forward to the day she can sing again.
John
