I have a black v shaped solid body guitar the v fin on the bottom is shorter than the one on top the head stock has diamond by aria on it the plate on the back of the neck says 4040294 made in japan I bought it new years ago about 16 or 17 years and to this date don't know its model origin etc can anyone help me figure it out

Hi there.
It sounds like you could have a 1974, 1502 FV on your hands.
A few photos will be helpful in working it out for sure.
