Hi,
I'm new to the forum and new to Matsumoku guitars. I happily purchased this VA900 from the original owner yesterday. I think it's a 1980 VA900. It is in great shape! The three-way toggle switch is broken off, so I'd like to replace it. Does anyone know if there's a certain size switch that is necessary for this guitar, or will any standard 3-way toggle work?

I'll be buying a set of replacement brass knobs at some point--I saw from another post that Armadillo Guitars makes pretty close copies of these knobs, so maybe I'll try those.

Here are some pics, if anybody is interested.

Thanks!

Welcome, lovely guitar. A standard on-on-on toggle should work. You could try cleaning the contacts and re-flowing the solder before replacing it though. That frequently works.

Thank you! Unfortunately, the tip has been broken off, so it is very hard to switch (otherwise, the switch works fine). I guess I will try a Switchcraft switch and see how it works!
