I can't be sure of the S/N - it may be 011018 or 071018 - can't really tell from the picture. It looks like a beauty... Would that be 1981? or 1987 if the second s/n is correct.

I was looking for a post that listed all the S/N from each year but could not find it.

A little more research tells me it is definitely a 1980 model. Please correct me if I am wrong.

What is the model, I have a VS695 serial #2110107. I'd be interested in seeing a photo or two and a little detail. These 12 strings have a glorious sound of their own.

Going by the serial number I'm guessing it's a VA912. Photos would be handy :)
