I have what appears to be, an early mat-era VP795B leftie. Is there any way to definitely tag this as Japanese and not Korean? serial number 107018 It has the offset pickups in both positions There is no marking to attribute it to Matsumoku, How can I be sure it is Japanese and not Korean? would it be a 1981?

Hi & welcome to the board.
setneck VP (Vantage performer) series was built from 1979 until 1982/83 in Japan (matsumoku).
1 (year) 07 (month) 018 (production number)
any pics?
