Hi everybody,
I found this forum by searching for a case for my old Vantage Bass.
I didn't knew much about it, because I bought it second Hand inthe early 80s. The in 85 I stoped playing Bass and half year ago I started again.

My first choice is a G&L L 2000 Bass from 82. But my second is the Vantage VS 695B/FL (built 1979/1980), but its not too easy after such a long time.. especially fretless.
But I bought him new strings (flatwounded) and he sounds great! :)

After all this years it bought a case for him, but it does not really fit. the neck cannot lie on the bridge in the case and it is quite to tight for his body.

Can sombody help me and find me a case that fits for my old Vantage?

Thank you very much in advance. And many Greatings from France.
Cheers Snape

I suggest that anyone with a guitar that's difficult to find a case fit for simply Google custom foam case. You can order custom foam cutouts or just get a case with pick and pull foam.

Note, I don't mean a case entirely made out of foam, I mean a sturdy case with foam inside.

Very good idea. These type cases also offer more protection than most original style cases.
Always remember, for proper support, the head and or tuners should not touch the case.
