It has come to my attention that a Vantage VE450 is in dire need of a home. This appears to be a set neck semi-acoustic? I already have one that is a bolt neck, solid body with fake F holes. I'm not sure the model because its missing the truss rod cover but it looks exactly like the VE545 in this pic: http://matsumoku.org/models/vantage/ve/ve.html
It's an absolute monster of a guitar but quite a bit on the heavy side.
I also own a Gretsch 2655T that I've not really bonded with. I'm toying with the idea of swapping the Gretsch for the VE450 but I'd like to know more about it first.
Is the VE450 indeed a semi-acoustic? I was thinking the VE that I have was but I bought it online. Once I got it and determined it wasn't was I was looking for, I didn't really care because it's just BAD.
I'm really looking for something 335/339ish.

Ya snooze. . .etc

Sorry about that man, I dragged my feet recently on a couple of guitars I had my I eye on and watched them disappear too.

'Course it was about two weeks before I actually had the money! Still. . .

Yeah, the thing that really irritates me is that I asked them questions about it and never got a response.
Eh, maybe it was listed as a formality. . .

I've had a few dick head sellers like that, and worse. A pox on all their houses!
