Hey all, this is a continuation of this post
viewtopic.php?f=35&t=13715

My VP-825 has safely arrived and it is absolutely a thing of beauty. It's near mint with a few small pinhead size dings and no fret wear.
I'm extremely happy with it and will take very good care of it, no intention to sell it.
I doubt I'll even play it much because it's really too nice to get used a lot.

The original case is in fair condition but there was a guitar cable in the case that was blue in color and said VANTAGE on it. I tried to photo it as best that
I could.

I was debating whether or not to buy at first too. Duh!

Pictures are here

Great that it turned out to be a nice one. Send it to me and I will verify!

Couldn't see the pictures though- requires login. Just post your login info here and we will all login.

Yes, working now and the VP-825 is very nice (scrolled down to see it).

I have a CSB-450 that matches your CS-400.

Oh mommy, that's a thing of beauty!
Also that CS400!

Interesting. That's the first time I've seen a branded cord. Vantage branded auxiliary items show up from time to time locally but it's usually a case, a small practice amp, or guitar strap.

They never seemed to be generally promoted much back in the day. I suspect such things were add ons for the dealers' up-sell. Trying to compete with Fender and Gibson on merchandising would have been expensive methinks.

Thanks. I have to go back and straighten out the orientation of the pictures. I also need to add
shot of the control cavity. Hopefully it will help someone in the future identify a prospective VP!
