Hi,

I have an old vantage. It seems to be the same as the active VP-820 shown here, except it has 24 frets. It has the three switches and the light.

My one is also equipped with a Kahler tremolo:

My serial is: 007188

These images aren't mine, but it's exactly the same except for the condition and the bridge (and my pickup casings are brass).

I'd love to know the usual: model number, year (is it 1980?), what its made from, what the switches do, and what its approximate value would be (definitely not mint), taking the kahler tremolo into account.

Hope you can help, I've been curious for AGES...

-Luke

Edit:

A quick update, it's a Vantage Artist like this (or is it a VP-830?):

But how can it be a vp820 if it has 24 frets (instead of 21) and the ovals on the fretboard instead of circles...

Thanks for the reply anyway. :)

It actually looks more like this one (except 6 strings):
