I am haunted. The 'Ghost' came to me this morning, and will not leave any more :D . No visible Sr# (gotta get me a blacklight, I understood).
The small golden Vantage-logo on top of the head, HB's marked 'FS', greasy and dusty all over, some dings and scratches, but nothing serious.
Seems all stock. Exept for the tuners (black plastic octagonal Gotoh's) and maybe the vol / tone knobs ... they are black speedknobs, but without the non-slip grooves that most of my other vantages have on them.
Are they stock?
(Crusty, the strat-style knobs on yours aren't, are they?)

Actually, those black plastic hexagonal tuners appear to be stock as Mine also has them and it came to me bone stock (still has the "made in japan" sticker on it).

Don't recall what knobs it had on it but I replaced mine with no slips so I am guessing it had the "look, I'm a cheapie" plain black speed knobs on it.

Though I can't see the headstock, yes, from the pics it appears you have an all stock Ghost. Original knobs and tuners, plus all original hardware. I bought mine off the floor when it first came out and that's it to a T. The only thing that's hard to tell about it from the the pic is whether the knobs are flat on top or indented in. The original ones are flat.

Oh...and the blacklight thing to see the serial number, good luck, I've never been able to see mine, blacklight or otherwise. If you do find it let me know where and I'll try again.

Thanks Ighut, Look s like I'm all good then :) . Some reflection suggests a 'dimple', but the knobs are flat. If you follow the 'click here'-link underneath the tuners pic, you'll find a clear headstock pic, too.

If I succeed in bringing up the Snr, I'll let you guys know, of course

I have a couple that the serials are legible in sunlight at the right angle. The ink reflects sunlight differently than the stain underneath.

Ahh yes...checked the link, then ran to make sure mine was still in it's case. That's a complete Ghost alright. When I first got mine home, I stuck a brass nut on it for even more sustain, as if it needed it, but didn't sound good, so put the original back on.

You better check again. Funny thing with Ghosts: sometimes they appear to be there, when in fact they're somewhere else

Tried that right away, but this is Holland man. It's November, so it's raining all day :( I'll get back to you when the aussies ship the sun back here, in May or so
