It's a Vantage electric and it looks like an ibanez RG.

Serial # 1060488.

Also do any of you guys know where I can get back plates for this guitar?

I'm not real familiar with the RG series. Aren't they double cutaway with almost symmetrical horns?

The RG series is a "superstrat".
Deep cut-aways, H-S-H pickup combination, 24 frets, double locking trem and bolt on necks. That's a rough description that doesn't fit on all models but I recon it's close enough.

Backplates? How about Jeannie's pickguards(http://home.comcast.net/~pickguards/)? They can custom make any plate you want if you make them a template.
