Hi all. I have what I think is a 1985 X series 38 TD-X with the Graphlex neck, SSH pup configuration, pearl White. Let me be clear: this is NOT for sale. However, I am trying to figure out just what I have here. It says made in japan and sn is I500263 (that is an 'i' and not a 1). It is very fine condition, and great to play. Any hints on what it might be worth, or more info period?

Welcome to the forum. Pictures are always good. If you have model number down, the somewhat unreliable numbering scheme would make it most likely an 1985 model. Prices on these do not reflect the quality. Pristine ones can go for a few hundred unless there is something else going on to boost the price. The Vantage experts will be along shortly to give you more info.

Due to retrograding sales in the years 1984 - 1986, there are not too many of this last catalogue's models around. They do not appear as often on fleabay as the "old" Vantage models from the early eighties.
This makes it hard to tell anything about the "worth" of your guitar.
I'd like to see some pics :look:

Jorg would say: "send it to me for further reconsiderations!" :D
