It has 71415. Is this Matsumoku?

Hi Zentman, your guitar is NOT the typical first series 5 digit serial VP700 Mystic!!
These guitars had: dark finish, cream white pups, no walnut stripes in the center wood....

In 1981/82 there has been a (limited?) 24 frets version of the VA800, 5-digit serial numbers, starting with 81 or (rarely) 82

Your guitar looks a lot like it would be the VP equivalent to this VAs (although 22frets) !!!
There's not enough information here to confirm this theory, but there might have been a limited run of 1981 VPs too,
5-digit numbers, all starting with 71 !!!

1981 then!?
