Hi,
i´m new to this board and first of all i have to say, sorry for my bad english ... or do i have to say: it´s german style ... :D

Ok ... here is my question:
Does anyone know, if or where i can order spare parts for the old Vantage 600VS ?
The problem is, that the little plastic thing between the string rolls and the neck (don´t know the correct word for it ... hard to explain in bad english ...) has a little broken part where the e-string sits in. Because of that, this string doesn´t sit correctly in it´s place and as the result the sound of that string is

I own this guitar nearly 30 years, and one bad moment ruined the sound .... [Foul Language Used] ......

Would be nice, if anyone can make me happy again ...

Thanks a lot
Greetings from Germany

You thinking of what´s in english called a top nut?
Ie,the plastic part that the strings rests in at the top of the neck before the strings are routed towards the tuning machines?

In that case any generic top nut for a gibson can be cut to fit.

Good luck with that Stringster.

It would be great if you could post some pictures of the process.
Or just some pics of your heirloom Vantage!
(If you've had it for 30 years and you're still incensed by damage, I believe it has found a good home...)
