I bought a used Vantage Bass with no model # on it - it is a thru neck with active electronics. but the Actives don't work - the little red light flashes as I plug the jack in but then nothing - I put in fresh batteries, etc., any suggestions ? I didn't see this bass in any of the Galleries so it may not be japanese made.
