Hi,

I just bought few month ago a Vantage VA-900, but... without original knobs (for the pots).

Do someone know where i could buy these same knobs ?

Best regards... from France

Hi JC, Finland calling.. There is a guy who can make those knobs for you, I think..
He has made me a set for one VA 900, and believe me, they are a perfect match.
Here's a link for his ad in Muusikoiden. net in Finland, try to contact him!

Howdy,

Armidillo Guitar make a reproduction knob. Almost identical although the knurling is a little coarser:

I have a set on my Westone and they are almost identical to those on my Vantage.

Regards,

Tony C.

Try to find someone who is working with a lathe.
Here are the results of copies for my VA900B:

Not exactly the same knurling, but better than the Jazz Bass knobs that have been on the bass previously!

JC, seems that he has pulled his ad for some reason - maybe he has enough orders.. ;) Tried to contact him by email but.. no answer.
I'll inform you if I manage to get in contact with him..

Edit: You can contact him by going to the members section http://muusikoiden.net/jasenet/66746 his nick is Mrhall62

and on that page there are two boxes in the upper right corner - click the lower one marked "Lähetä pikaviesti" (Send a private message)
I'm well aware that Armadillo Guitars has those replacement knobs, but taxes & sending costs might raise the price. Those knobs are on the heavy side..
So you EU-fellow residents could get those brass knobs maybe little cheaper from inside The Union...
