kazz, did you have a look into the specs section?
http://www.matsumoku.org/models/vantage/ve/ve.html

Two pics of VE565 models there! (The "VE470" is a VE565 too!!):

center block, hollow wings, body binding, block inlays,....
Does your guitar look different?

J.

The only thing on the it to suggest that it is a Vantage..aside from the shape of the headstock...is that the tuners are definitely Vantage tuners having the swirly V on the back of each one. None of the pics in the gallery and catalogues of Entertainers match this guitar. The f-holes are different and as I mentioned it has hollow wings and a solid center block. All the Entertainers I've had and seem were solid body with fake f-holes. This one has a smaller but thicker body than a VSH es335 copy. Anybody got one of these?
Still at a loss. Come guys ...

I never knew that this model existed...it's definitely the top-of-line Entertainer then...too bad she's been stripped down. It's for sale at $299 Cdn at a shop in town.

Fantastic guitar, the 470!! Although semi-hollow, she is very Les Paulish! Probably one of the best models, Vantage has ever built!
Top of the line in 1984 I'd say. The successor of the VE 565!

Someone should grab her! :D

1984 is correct ...the serial number begins with 4.
I agree also that it's top of line for Vantage...same quality as the VSH-455.
I am so tempted to buy it but I've lost interest in electrics. I might be open to
picking it up for someone who wants it.

Hi Kazz, is this guitar still available? What part of Canada would it be in? I might be interested in a project guitar.

Feel free to PM me if it's still around.
