Just picked up a very nice Vantage les paul copy at a pawn shop...I will try and post pix and model number later...

Need some help---it is missing the pickup switch tip....should I get a USA threaded switch tip or import threaded switch tip? (Never knew it mattered until I searched Ebay for a cream tip and there were several thread types....UGH!!! :barf: )

EDIT: Just found the model in the catalogs....it is a VLP-500 series model; the "SPIRIT"; in black with case........

Hello Woody, and welcome here :) . The thread on the 3-way switch on your VLP540 is most likely metrical. I'll check for you on mine to be certain, just a few minutes ...

Not to me it isn't (but this is Holland :P ).
If you're used to measuring in inches instead of centimeters, it probably is.
