If you're wronged liked that, and you come in the position to give the perpetrator a ferm whoopin' without any permanent damage, I'm all for it (give the guy a year or two to recover completely). If my dog, my girls or my guitars were victimised ... I don't know what I would do ... (be warned, you villains ... do you feel lucky today?)

Truly sorry to hear these tales of woe guys. Hope the property stolen is recovered safely and speedily.

One benefit of working in a shop that has laser markers is that all of our more "valuable" property has been marked in hard to find locations with identifiers in case of theft. Too small to be noticed with the naked eye but easy to read under the proper magnification if you know where to look.

Plus if you catch any stray hoodlum in the act the butt leaves no initials to identify you within the other marks, scuffs and bruises that would be present at a later time.
