Rightio, then... here we go; first of all, understand that my kit has to share living space with the childrens apparently endless supply of toys...
...in the sun..
Very easy guitar to play; sits well on the strap and once I've polished the frets it'll be easier to navigate the neck, too!
Nice Avenger body style, with the odd pickup cover logos and the weird-ass el-cheapo bridge! Which seems to work just fine and stays in tune with an application of Nut sauce to the contact points.
Headstock...
Rear of h/s; Vantage branded tuners which are Gotohs and in pretty awful nick, really; they are sloppy and loose.
Body rear. The red in the stylised in 'V' is my doing... The 3 springs on the trem arent all that tight at the minute and the bridge is VERY wobbly so a little tuning there to be done.
Bridge floating nicely.. I've got it a little high as I was looking for a rhythm type sound so more projection; I've got plenty of lead instruments strewn about the place!! It is, however, still quite practical as a lead guitar, you just have to be a little careful!
Pickups are quite low in an effort to calm the thing down! Bloody hell, it's LOUD and with the 45 I fitted has more than enough penetration for most applications! It will make your ears bleed if the pups were any higher... however, I may still raise them a little i=until the sound starts to lose definition, a trait it has in spades at the minutes; very clear, distinct chord voicing is possible even with reasonably heavy distortion on tap.
Looks quite at home in the "inside" rack, don't you thinkl!
