Ya know, I never know what to expect when I walk into the shop on a Wednesday morning.
Some days it's interesting and non-stop tiring; other days it's mind numbingly dull and I'm looking for stuff to do after lunch.
"So, how was
today Barry?" (hey thanks for asking.)
Well sir, Bob (the shop owner) directed me to a small pile of guitars, in cases, waiting patiently for me. I usually grab an acoustic to start off with 'cuz 9 times out of 10 it's a restring/setup which is a non-threatening way to begin my day, and less chance for me to screw up and put me in a bad state of mind for the duration. So, I reached for an old brown case which was tagged "restring/setup/fix tuners". Perfect.
I open it up and what do I see? The
Vantage logo! Attached to a lovely tobacco sunburst finish!
Long story short: I fixed it; I cleaned it; I played it; and I photographed it! (Only had the phone camera with me. Sorry. Best I could do.)
Thought the membership might enjoy seeing it anyway...

In pretty good shape for the years, and just like all the models in this series, light as a feather!
The woman was giving it to her 14 year old son to learn on!
