Hello all,

I have the opportunity to purchase a Skylark 2612. Does anyone out there have one and how does it play and sound? Does the bolt-on neck limit the sustain.

It seems that at <$200 it is a pretty good deal as it is in perfect condition and all electronics are original and working. Tell me what you think please. I would like some feed back before I drive the 70 miles to check it out.

Skylarks were a short run of some of the best from Mats... Only available in the States so for guys like me, very disirable... Like I mentioned in several post, I never landed on a bad Mat so far... So for 200.00 no taxe for a rare axe... That is a deal in my book.

Happy road trip and please come back and share your new axe with us with lots of pictures and comments on your new baby...

P.
