Got me a new toy:
A Del Vecchio (Brazilian Resonator guitars) copy, made by CONRAD, Japan.
Late 60ies, early 70ies....who knows..... ???
Telecaster lipstick is non-original/aftermarket. Gives me the possibility to mix the original "Jazz-sounding" (double blade) PU with a "rocking" pickup :D

here are first pics:

Looks like a beautiful build Johann. Mahogany yes?
I don't think I've seen a resonator in that wood, but it should help tame down some of the brightness of the metal. Nice.

Not. Sure about the lipstick though. Ordinarily i'd like it, but I wonder if it might add back too much "jangle" and cancel the softening effect of the mahogany?

I'm sure you'll love it no matter, she's a keeper!

the lipstick PU is bringing this guitar closer to an electric guitar - without too much "jangle", from my POV - but i don't have to use it. It's just an additional option, and it provides more loudness, when necessary.
With the original pickup this guitar is sounding very much like it's brazilian role model:

Sure she's a keeper, Barry! Think I don't have to tell you 'bout uncle mat's fine art of craftmanship.... :P
