This one looks pretty nice...

Too bad I'm broke right now after buying a Westbury Standard a few days ago.

Oh well, maybe it'll still be there in a few months.

I don't know if you'd be entirely happy with that one. It looks more like it was made by Kawai than Kasuga.

I've been to that dealer a number of times. Although three bills is rather steep, I'm a little surprised Ron isn't asking much more.

The same guitars were sold as Greco, Sekova, Rythmline, Tele-Star and so on. Very popular in various catalogs around '70-71. Kinda cool looking in walnut, but quality is pretty low. Wallhanger material, not a player by any means. I sold mine for $100 last year and felt like I was taking advantage of the buyer at that price, despite giving it a full overhaul & set-up prior to selling. Prone to neck pocket problems too, make sure you check the joint if you do buy.

I see you've noticed the neck pocket problems too. I've seen neck pocket warping on both Kawai and Kasuga hollows of that period. Both the Conrad and Lyle I had were slightly warped at the neck pocket. I ended up shaving them just a bit since I had to replace the necks anyway.
