Nothing on the neck plate except a little MIJ sticker that we usually find on the headstock!

I looked at the pots and they are the Japan ones and it is solid wood not ply.

What I like the most is that it has the exact same knobs as my VA-800 Phantom....

Good to know if if you find a Phantom and you are missing knobs!

Hey Cmin!

It's real funy since was looking at your thread at the begining of the week and was wondering if I should post my Univox P bass and this little add came up 2 minutes from where I live. The add had no picture and just said old electric guitar from the 70's with a 100$ price tag. I said what the hell, he is next door, call the guy and went over. I bought the guitar with a brand new 70's guitar strap (very funky), stand and case for 70$ This is not a PE but man.... what a guitar for the price....

This also confirms that yours and mine are from Japan but by who?!? We still know very little about Univox...

Very eye catching... I like the color very much, something about these red burst that stands out... It plays like a dream, no fret wear or nothing... this guitar never played.

For the hell of it will take some pictures of my bass and post them..

P.

Just catching up to this thread Pierre...wow, she's a beauty! For $70!? Unbelievable.
One of these has just appeared on Kijiji near me and it's in perfect condition with original HSC. I'm tempted but at $350 it's a bit too rich for me.

Hey Barry, I saw your post on that one you mentioned... At 350, it`s very high a price in my mind also... I could see someone going 200 for it but that would be my limit.....

Have to say, mine was a real steal..... :D
