Hello Matsumokunists,

My colleage has this very maltreated and abused Conrad guitar.
We could not find a pickguard where the pickups would fit in, because it is not a 100% Strat model.
So, people from the Gretsch pages knew this is a Conrad.
Now I end up here, hoping to get some more info.
Is this a guitar worth restoring or should we let it rest in peace?

Geez, I wouldn't know whether to play it or use it to launch satellites!
Gives new interpretation to the question, "How many pickups can dance on the head of a guitar?" :toopid:

Looks to me like there may be something salvageable under all those "strap-ons". Perhaps one of the other members here will have some specific information for you. Meantime try a search for Conrad on the Telecaster Forum: http://www.tdpri.com/forum and Harmony Central: http://www.harmony-central.com/

Thank you for the word of welcome and the info so far!
We all have been laughing at work, when my colleage brought this in.
It's a Frankenstein alright. You should have seen the matching amp.
It has two speakers, four inputs and it's on wheels or else it can't be moved.
The roof just stayed on the building when we put it on two.
I'll go and see your info now!
