This is the important bit!

This is only on one of the guitars, missing from the other three, though it's just a sticker so would have peeled off easily.

Heads up: A Lincoln six-string the same as mine had popped up on ebay if anyone's looking - I've had a half-arsed bid on it but don't really need another, plus it's had a couple of bits replaced, but I can definitely recommend the brand. I'm not going to post a link because I'm not sure that is allowed (even though it's definitely not my auction) but you should be able to find it.

BBC TV's "Breakfast" previewed Bonny Tyler's Eurovision entry today, they also showed vintage footage of Bonny performing "Total Eclipse of the Heart", just behind her the bass-player can clearly be seen thumping a Lincoln Bass!

I've got a Lincoln (not bass) the same as the one in the first post - I love it! I've also got a Westbury Standard which I like too, and an Epiphone EA 250 which is also great but I find the neck too skinny.

I actually only joined this thread in the hope of finding more about the Lincoln brand, there's so little info available. Should anyone be interested mine's on Jedistar a site that shows photos of guitars, it's not a forum - just a gallery. Click on 'J' and scroll down.

Bonny's song's OK-ish, but it's never gonna win - last year a superannuated crooner, this year a superannuated power-ballad chanteuse. Roll on next year! Superannuated punk-rocker?

(Edit!) By the way Dogsauce, I hasten to assure you, you're definitely not the only person in the world who's obsessed with Lincolns!
