Well it may be a start but I spotted a few inacuracies and I am no expert. Yamaha was made by Nippon Gakki, not Fuji Gakki. Also Fuji Gakki was not the exclusive maker of Univox. Our own Uncle Matt made many. Matt did not make all Electras. Some were made by Terada which is listed as a brand but was a factory. I am poretty sure that some Morris were made by Yamaki.

This list's been circulated in a few different places. It's not a whole lot more accurate than the one from Harry & Hasy's Ibanez site, from years back - which still causes half the plywood tat on Ebay to be listed as "Ibanez with a different name".

Very nice...well it's a start !
Now it's up to us to get the inacuracies out ...perhaps the list will become a guitar collectors bible some day ?
But first things first :
I'm just inspecting a Horuijel (or Horugel in the Tombo list ) and I can reasure you it's definatly Korean !!!I've seen a few of them ( EG302 and EG1502 ) and it doesn't smells but is Korea !
Same fact about Duke ,same writing style , same pu's , same everything else as the early Hondo's by Samick...thus Korea !
The same fact for a number of Luxor's , some were made in Korea by Samick ( s.a. the Luxor SG copy SC100 ) , and since it was sold through a postal-order company in Germany and they were always at the look out for the cheapest axes I doubt that Luxor ever bought in Japan...?...but I could be wrong of course
