Look guys.
I´ve looked at an old Morris Tornado and was wondering what the general consensus is on these?

It´s sort of an Ovation copy that comes with a stock HSC asf.

Seller is asking a 100 euros.

Sorry Jesper, I never heard of this brand.
I have two Ovation shallow bowls. I bought the 1983 Collectors Edition new and gigged it for years, and picked up a 1991 Elite about 3 years ago, so I can offer that experience for what it's worth. I also have some experience with a neck reset on one (don't ask).
Any pix of the one you're interested in?

edit:
I did a quick search and found a few pix on that Internet thingy:

Gotta say they are a very good clone of my '83!
From what little commentary I did find on one post, he seems to believe these were made by Mats!? If so, I've just added another label to search. :D

Sorry to disappoint you in that case Barry but Morris is-and was-manufactured at Nagano.
CEO being a Mr Toshio Moridaira.

Back then they were stated to have made half decent acoustics.
These days...they make multi dollar ones,as in REALLY expensive offerings, and that not without success.

I´ll see if i can post a pic of the guitar in case.

One picture is not too much to go on, but it looks pretty good to me.
Is this an electric/acoustic or straight acoustic? I can't make out any controls on the the top edge.

If she's electric, the only issue you might have is feed back under amplification. The shallow backs with round sound hole designs seem to suffer from that. I have to use a Feedback Buster in the hole or else the D string will just vibrate itself off the bridge! No issues though with the Adamas design (11 holes in the upper bout with the wooden epaulets around them).
